Welcome to the website of the Korean Social and Personality Psychological Association.
Since its founding in 1975, the association has been contributing to the development of social and personality psychology in Korea for nearly half a century. The association has also contributed greatly to addressing critical social issues in Korea through the application of social and personality psychology. We are now one of the largest academic organizations in Korea with more than 1,700 members as of 2019.
Social and personality psychology is a key branch of modern psychology that systematically and scientifically studies the social mind and behavior. There is no doubt that it will play a key role in the Fourth Industrial Revolution by identifying and designing the life conditions needed for the enhancement and prosperity of individuals, groups and communities. I look forward to opening up a hopeful future in tandem with everyone interested in social and personality psychology.
